San Rafael, CA. February 6, 2025. OUTERclé, the preferred house for artisan tile, has joined our friends at Flamingo Estate in the creation of their highly acclaimed pop-up at Bloomingdale's flagship New York location.
The pop-up is an extraordinary sensory experience, the perfect embodiment of our shared belief in the power of nature and the enduring importance of artisanship and unconventional beauty.
As clé and OUTERclé announces expansion to NYC in 2025, we’re pleased to begin our latest chapter with this collaboration: a timeless and evocative testament to the shared values of the two brands.
The Inspiration
A striking monochrome of muted pinks became more than a backdrop for Flamingo Estate's new pop-up celebrating the wonders of nature.
The installation, inspired by iconic tile environments, was completely transformed with richly patterned OUTERclé terrazzo floors contrasted with counters and walls clad in gleaming, textural clé zellige. Evoking a sense of both modernity and timelessness, the effect is majestic, transforming a generic retail space into a work of art.

"This pop-up is a celebration of nature, heritage, and the art of creating meaningful spaces, and we’re thrilled to help bring Flamingo Estate’s vision to life in such a captivating way."
The pop-up will be open at Bloomingdale's flagship New York location until mid-March.
The Details
At the heart of the design lies clé and OUTERclé’s exquisite tiles: timeless, captivating, powerfully evocative.
The structures are clad in clé Vintage Rose zellige tile — a luminous, organic tile in a muted, nostalgic pink handcrafted in Morocco using centuries-old techniques.
The floors are tiled with OUTERclé’s Dolce Vita terrazzo. A far cry from common terrazzo, OUTERclé terrazzo is handmade in Italy, using the same expertise found throughout Venetian palazzi.
