San Rafael, California (September 30, 2025) – Trailblazing artisan tile producer clé is excited to announce a series of upcoming original product releases created alongside design visionaries and esteemed design collaborators. Design partnerships have always been a part of the artistic principles at clé, since its first-ever collaboration with Ruan Hoffmann. This first collaboration is now also its latest: this newpartnership, a collection titled Postcards From Myself, is a poetic renaissance of their creative dynamic, and sets the stage for several more collaborations to follow.

Postcards From Myself is a vibrant collection of cement tiles inspired by Ruan Hoffmann’s intricate, hand-painted designs which capture the essence of the compelling sights and sounds of Hoffmann’s global travels. This collaboration brings his provocative, innovative, and artistic point of view to the medium of tile, pushing the boundaries of what surfaces can accomplish and aligning with clé’s rooted contemplation of tile as art. Each artwork, or "postcard," is based on an international city and is available in six colorways from clé’s Mythology curations of cement color duos and trios.

Since clé’s first partnership with Hoffmann back in 2012, artist collaborations have become fundamental to the brand’s creative approach, inspiring continued partnerships with fine artists and designers. clé has partnered with Cristina Celestino, the Italian designer and architect, for new, exclusive tile designs made of stone for Lapidary, clé’s extensive collection of sculpted stone. Drawing upon Cristina’s uniquely Italian style, this highly anticipated collection of fine stone mosaics will be released later this year.

clé has also recently revisited their collaboration with Shanan Campanaro, founder of the New York-based textile design studio Eskayel. Campanaro creates unique designs inspired by nature and her travels, and the upcoming expansion of her collection with clé will continue to emulate their kaleidoscopic textiles and wallcoverings. This upcoming release expands the collaboration by pairing Shanan’s celebrated designs with clé’s Mythology color curations. This Eskayel cement line manages to embody both the intricacy and meditation of Shanan’s art in striking and moving arrangements. The collection will be released later this month.

To round out 2025, clé will release two new collaborations with vibrant creative voices in the design world whose aesthetics and vision align with clé’s: cement tile collections with Frances Merrill of Reath Design and fabric, wallpaper, and textile designer Serena Dugan. The clé collection with Frances Merrill will embrace the playfully contemplative essence of Merrill’s interiors, and the collaboration with Serena Dugan will bring Serena’s vibrant geometric designs to the realm of tile. Both of these patterned cement artist collaborations will broaden the scope of clé’s portfolio in an innovative, joyful way.

Deborah Osburn, founder of clé tile, explains, “At clé, we are fascinated by the connection between art and tile. From day one, our mission has been to push the boundaries of how we create, view and use tiles, and this vision was the genesis of our artist collaborations, starting with Ruan Hoffmann. And while we consider all forms of tile to be works of art, we also see tile as the perfect medium through which artists can showcase and extend their work and bring it to a wider audience in a different, more approachable context.”
