Now, pool design is ready to enter a new era, courtesy of advanced technical clays and the design prowess of Italy’s Cristina Celestino.

San Rafael, California. September 4, 2024. In the US, outdoor design options and materials have been severely limited, largely starved of colour, pattern and shape. OUTERclé changes that. This just-launched definitive source for outdoor materials — both traditional and unconventional — offers a dynamic new vision for gardens, pools, gathering spaces, and landscapes.

The new company’s latest collection — Tivoli Tech designed by acclaimed Milan designer Cristina Celestino — is the perfect embodiment of this vision.

Tivoli Tech fuses Milanese wit and sophistication with Italy’s most advanced technical clays, courtesy of Celestino’s creative development with storied Italian tilemaker Fornace Brioni. The Fornace Brioni + Cristina Celestino collection of outdoor tile is exclusive to OUTERclé in the US.

Italian classic craftsmanship meets modern technology
The ceramic material for Tivoli Tech was developed by fourth-generation tile makers Fornace Brioni. This outdoor formulation — the result of intensive research and development — resulted in an ultra-high quality through-body technical clay that is freeze-thaw rated, resilient to pool chemicals, and is UV and slip-resistant.

Behind the design
Tivoli Tech echoes the terracotta and ceramic interior versions of Celestino’s popular Tivoli pattern available from clé. Award-winning Tivoli graces homes, hotels, and public spaces around the world — but only indoors.

Celestino’s original source of inspiration was classic Italian garden design with its regular and delightful geometry of trees, topiaries and sculpted hedgerows. Tivoli Tech represents a return to the outdoor roots of its inspiration.

An unprecedented collection of tile for pools
